Meet the team..

Our people are our business - skilled, interested, enthusiastic
and accessible. Here you can meet some of the key members
of our team, who we hope you will get to know through working
with Lea Manufacturing.

Although we each have different roles within the business we all share the commitment to pushing the boundaries of our knowledge and expertise in pursuit of delivering both the perfect finish and a first class service to our customers.

We work hard to build long-standing and enjoyable working relationships and hope we will become a partner to trust for your business.

Kevin P. Thurlow - Managing Director
Kevin joined Lea Manufacturing in 1979 and since then has driven Lea's growth and evolution through strategic direction and the continuing development of products, markets and people. He is co-owner of the business along with Rebecca Kennington.

Rebecca A. Kennington - Financial Director
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Rebecca joined Lea Manufacturing in 1995 as Kevin Thurlow's business partner and works alongside him to ensure that the company remains committed to new product development and the ongoing enhancement of our manufacturing processes.

Tracey Griffin - Operations Director
Since joining Lea Manufacturing in 1988 Tracey has worked in all areas of the company's administration. As Operations Director she has day to day responsibility for accounting systems, Human Resources and Procurement, giving her wide-reaching involvement and input.

Nick Challand - Commercial Director
Nick joined the Lea team in 1994, since which time he has worked in Technical, Sales and Production areas. Returning to Head Office after a time managing one of the subsidiary companies, Nick's responsibilities cover all aspects of the business's outward facing activities, Sales and Marketing, Technical Support and Customer Service. 
He has indepth technical knowledge of the company's products, technology and customers' applications.

Neil Livesey - Sales Office Manager
The longest serving member of the Lea management team, Neil has worked with the company's customers both in the UK and around the world since 1974! He utilises his detailed knowledge and long experience to ensure customer requirements for timely supply of products and services are the top priority.

Sharon Allard - Sales Office Administrator
Sharon joined Lea Manufacturing in 1997 and again has indepth knowledge of our products and services.
Working alongside Neil she is a trusted key contact for our customers, handling all aspects of orders, delivieries and general customer relations.

Mike Taylor - Technical Sales
Mike joined Lea in 2011.  He combines good technical knowledge with client account management skills, a real belief in offering process improvement programmes and a willingness to help our customers wherever possible.

Balvinder Singh - Technical Manager

Our newest member, Balvinder joined Lea in 2018.  A graduate of the University of Woverhampton and Member of the Institute of Materials Finishing Balvider brings a wealth of experience in the manufacturing and use of surface treatment processes across a wide range of industries.  He is strongly focussed on application lead research and product development, as an integral part of delivering our philosopy of providing our customers with the processes and support they need and expect.
