Abrasive Powders

Abrasive Powders are used in several simple applications. 
Lea Manufacturing supplies the following range:

Graded Aluminium Oxide and Silicon Carbide.            
Grit sizes from 36 to 320, used with Gritmaster and Grainlock cements to make scurfs and setup wheels.

Pumice.             
Used to polish softer metals, particularly Pewter and Britannia metal. 
Often called sand buffing.

Whiting/Vienna lime.    
A very fine chalk based abrasive used to wipe down after polishing, to remove compound and grease residues
